Idris Elba is adding director to his resume with his new movie Yardie. The movie is based on the novel Yardie written by Victor Headley in 1992 about a Jamaica cocaine courier in the U.K. The film premiered at Sundance Film Festival and was well received in 2017. It’s premiering in London, with other dates worldwide in 2018.
