Consistency requires discipline. Most people wait for inspiration or motivation to start something. That spark is great, it gets the fire going. But being consistent…man that’s a struggle I face not just with blogging, but in life.
You see I’m more of a “go with the flow” kind of person. As I got older I realized how much I lacked consistency in certain areas of life I started thinking change those habits over time. I’m still learning and growing, but getting better at this consistency thing. It’s showing in the results.
Blogging for 10 years doesn’t mean I’ve always been consistent, it means I’m dedicated to this ting! I enjoy what I do and love being able to share so much of what I love on a platform that has become an entity of its own. I’m humbled and grateful to still be hanging in there and adjusting as needed.
After 10 years of blogging, I’ve never felt more confident about Style & Vibes than I do now. This is what I mean when I say I feel like I’m just getting started because I have so much more. Blogging for 10 years means I’ve been patient, preparing for what’s to come. As I write this blog at 12:45 am (yup I still need to wake up for work) I know that no matter how hard it feels, no matter how much time it takes to get where to believe I’m headed, the real work is in being disciplined and consistent.
