Blogs sometimes get lost in the world wide web without a voice. As a blogger I’m constantly looking for new ways to expand my site and what better way to do so than to MeetUp with other successful bloggers. Thanks to Kitty Bradshaw I joined the NY Bloggers group on Meetup. Networking with people who have a similar interest allows you to ask questions, discuss common problems and unveil real solutions, which is what I love about networking events.
NY Bloggers meet once a month, but Feb.2, 2010 was my first. A part from networking with local bloggers I learned new elements of Google Analytics from the guest speaker Stephanie M. Cockerl, of Next Steph. The group’s founder Andrew Christian is planning a NY Blogger Bash in the next few months, so if you’re a fellow blogger I encourage you to join the group and meet with bloggers who are not necessarily in your niche.
