Trump is officially America’s president. We must deal and carry on. I was not the surprised by the outcome, but made my mood somber nonetheless. It feels like he’s inspired more hate, sexism and racism in America as the people divide, he’ll swoop in and look out for his rich friends. I’m waiting to see how it plays out and come to terms with the various emotions I’m we are all feeling.
Music always puts me in a good mood so I decided to put together a playlist of reggae songs the always ground me, remind me to be proud of who I am and deal with the fact that we have to keep moving forward regardless of the obstacles we face. Reggae has always been my gospel, so “hold ah musical meds” and enjoy the vibes.
