Travel Style: London

 

England was so much fun! My family and I took a week long stay in London. We rented  a hotel, The Chadwick in Chiswick part of London. I learned so much about the city, did a lot of site seeing, people watching and of course walking.  I knew that I would be walking a lot so I knew that I wanted to be comfortable, but I also didn’t want to over pack. London had so many beautiful places to take pictures. I took a lot, but I also just enjoyed walking around and taking it all in. Comfort was key, especially because we experienced a number of weather changes throughout the day. I never lever left my hotel without a my jean jacket, umbrella and comfortable flats. Before I left, I picked up a few basics, not knowing they would all be my “go-to” because they’re easy to accessorize and not be too fussy. I used one medium sized bag most of the trip because it held my camera, phone, chargers and snacks (I learned to pack a lot in that little bag.)

This t-shirt dress will definitely be a closet staple. It’s comfy and not too fitted and pretty much goes with anything. It didn’t rise up as I walked and the material was light without being too flimsy. This Zara denim jacket is already a staple for the spring, summer and fall. I wear it every chance I get for any casual occasion.

White tee? Enough said. Comfortable and flowy, I paired with these boyfriend jeans and flat Aldo sandals. I mentioned these sandals in my July favorites video and this trip proved why they’re my favorite even more. They were easy to walk around in all day!

This dress is actually the same exact dress as my little black t-shirt dress pictured above, just in a navy color. I bought these sneakers on a whim when I need a pair of sneakers after walking around in the city for a day. Glad I was able to wear them again.
