The little one and I were invited to the UniverSoul Circus in Queens, NY on #WAHGWAN social media night and we both had so much fun! The UniverSoul Circus had all the elements of a traditional circus, elephants, tiger and acrobats but with a lot more flavor infusing Caribbean, African and Latino cultural elements throughout the show. In between acts the crowd participation was not only inviting, but hilarious! It felt like a big family reunion under one tent. Check out some of our favorite moments
These ladies were so flexible! Made me want to take up yoga, it’s amazing how far you can stretch your body.
The dancers put on a great show with fire lit limbo and folk style dancing made me feel like I was at carnival.
The elephant’s were Cheeks’ favorite. She loved all the tricks they did.
