Carol’s Daughter creator Lisa Price has developed a site dedicated the those who want to transition to natural curly hair called Transitioning Movement. I remember transitioning about 8 years ago — I totally did it on whim to see what my natural hair looked like, no big “ah ha” moment of wanting to break free from the getting relaxers. I loved it, so I stuck with it. I do remember how the products I used when I had a relaxer didn’t work so great and trying to figure out the right mix took a lot of sample product trials. This site makes natural sense as an extension of Carol’s Daughter since a lot of their products are great for natural hair. It has a lot of tips of caring for your hair while transitioning, inspirational stories and much more for natural newbies.
