Robert “Bobby Digital” Dixon, Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall producer who helped shaped the sounds of the music from the 1980s/1990s has passed away. Protoje of King Jammy’s Bobby Digital has produced countless Reggae and Dancehall hits including “Dem Bow” (the foundation of Reggaeton sound), Shabba Ranks’ “Wicked inna Bed,” Sizzla’s “Black Woman & Child” and many more. Bobby was the first to experiment with digital sounds to create music adding to the instruments to create a signature sound.
