Diana McCaulay, Jamaican environmental activist, and award-winning writer, will deliver the 13th Annual CIN Lecture on November 15th at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, New York. Her presentation to the Diaspora titled: “The State of the Rock: How do we protect the Jamaican environment”, will explore the current state of Jamaica’s natural environment and climate – forests, rivers, coral reefs – and the main threats to these natural assets, including climate change and poor environmental management. Diana will also outline ways in which the Diaspora can help to protect our valuable natural environment. (FREE)
