Miss Jamaica Universe, Davina Bennett brought her whole melanated goddess, natural hair, divine empress self to the Miss Universe pageant…and we are all here for it! Her beauty captured many, but it was her poise, gracefulness (and the unapologetic afro) that had us rooting for her. Although Davina Bennett place 3rd in the competition, she was clearly a viewer favorite and pageant favorite. ZJ Sparks’ commentary on Instagram had us all in serious tears with laughter…but we all clearly felt the same way.
